Welcome
to my website and my addiction. I have been searching my roots for almost seven
years now and every time I hit a dead end something new pops up. I have been
researching my husbands family as well and he will be Volume
2
(someday, I
hope).
My ancestors came from England,
Germany, Ireland, and Russia. Those are the families I know of at least.
When they crossed the ocean they settled in Maryland, Pennsylvania and New
York. Some of my ancestors came to America before the Revolution and helped gain
our independence. While others fought in the Civil War. They helped form the
country we live in today.

information only on my direct ancestors. If you believe you have a

My Mom's Family
Bolich/Boley: Johan Georg Bolich arrived in
Philadelphia on the Ship Neptune in 1754. He lived in Philadelphia and Berks
Counties. John George Bolich died in Berks County in December of
1797. Other surnames: Collsum, Cotter, Fewinger, Gehr, Hampson, Harts,
Hudson, Kurtz, Madsen, Mecklin, Ramsport, Ries and Weiler.
Davis: Singleton Davis (born abt. 1811
in Pa.) from Western Pennsylvania. Other Sunames: Marks,
O'Donnell,and Sloane.
Mansfield: William (Born before 1765) from
Westmoreland County. Other surnames: Brinker, Bush, McKee, McDonald,
and Muffley
Mehring : Henry
Mehring born in 1746 and died in Lancster County, 1823. Other Surnames: Hauser,
Ranck, Petrie, Hurst and Stougard.
Rosen: Morris Rosen born in Kiev, Russia
about 1857. Lived in Philadelphia.Updated: January 15,

Siverd: Jacob Siverd was
born in Pennsylvania about 1805. He lived in Lancaster County, PA. Other
