Ruth Snead writes,"From my notes I have two copies of old letters to Sarah Kent, one written by the above mentioned Nancy, the widow of Wm. Kent deceased, to her mother-in-law Sarah T. Kent. In her letter she sends her love to her brothers and sisters, who must have lived somewhere near Kent Store. The other was from Elizabeth Duncan or Blades Kent, widow of Samuel Kent. She married him in Kentucky about 1840. She had never met her mother-in-law. These letters were written about 1850".
