WILL OF ELIZABETH WALKER; recorded in Book B at page 84 (copy of original on Book B, p. 215)
The last will and testament of Elizabeth Walker widow of Col. John Walker deceased made the sixth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundered and five. At this time I the said Elizabeth Walker being of sound and perfect memory and possessed of rrational faculties and sound mind yet with all in a feeble state of body and health much impaired and knowing it is appointed for me to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament, I give and bequesth to my son Jacob Walker a negro woman named Sarah which I purchased from my sister ALice Alexander in her life time together with all my livestock, household furniture and the residue of my legacy left to me by my brother WIlliam Watson deceased of York District South Carolina comprising my whole and entire Estate that I shall died possessed of I by this my last will and testament devise and give to my said son Jacob Wealker made in Rutherford County N. C and signed with my own hand the day and year above written and I further to authorize and impower my son Jacob aforesaid to collect any monies due me that may be owing to my desease and to act in the capaticy of an Executor.
