I know very little of my Keisling (Kissling) ancestors. My grandfather, Arven M. Keislings, parents divored and he never talked about his father or his family. I would like to learn about his ancestors and descendants, and meet family members.

This family arrived in America in 1749 and settled in Berks County, PA. They later moved to Wythe County, VA, and finally settled in Anderson and Knox Counties, TN.

Other researchers have linked the family to the Baden area of Germany in the late sixteeth century. I have not verified this information, but believe it to be accurate. Currently, I am studing old church records in the Baden area, and hope to find more details of this family.
