Lewis Persinger⁽¹⁾ died on 10 Jan 1941 in Milton, Cabell Co., WV. LEWIS PERSINGER -- Eighty-two years old, of Milton, died at his home at 7 A. M. yesterday. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence at 2 P. M. tomorrow, with the Rev. Mason Cremeans officiating. Burial will be in Maddox cemetery in Putnam county. Mr. Persinger is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sally Persinger; five daughters, Mrs. Alice Smallridge, Mrs. Nora Clark and Mrs. Ora Bias of Huntington; and Mrs. Woodrow Adkins of Yates, W. Va.; three sons, J. H. Persinger of Culloden, W. Va., and Homer and Hugh Persinger, both of Milton; a brother, Jacob Persinger of Scott's Depot; 32 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.

Four Year Old Son Of Mr. And Mrs. Frank Peyton Meets
Awful Death.
The little four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peyton of
Barboursville was eating peanuts, when a part of the shell of one of
them passed into the wind pipe and then to the right lung, lodging in
one of the bronchail tubes. Despite the fact that the best medical
aid possible was summoned the little boy died a few hours later. Parents: Francis William Peyton and Cora Virginia Baumgardner .
