Mrs. Zelda Kilcoyne, 64, widow of John Kilcoyne, former prominent restaurant owner, died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at her home, 1311 Park Avenue. Although Mrs. Kilcoyne had been in ill health for the last 13 years, her death came suddenly Saturday. She had been bedfast the last eight months.
Mrs. Kilcoyne was born February 25, 1872, on a farm near Huntington. She was a daughter of John and Lucinda(Lusetta) Marks and was the last survivor of a large family. She was married to Mr. Kilcoyne in 1891, and they came to Portsmouth in 1903. Mr. Kilcoyne died September 20, 1936.
A member of Holy Redeemer Church, Mrs. Kilcoyne always was a faithful attendant at services when her health permitted.
She is survived by four children: Mrs. William J. Bruch of Bluefield, Mrs. Gerald Petry of Grandview Avenue, John Paul Kilcoyne of Robinson Avenue and Mrs. Walter L. Herrmann of Park Avenue.
The body will be at the residence after 2 p.m., Sunday. Funeral services will be under the direction of Lynn's. Members of the Altar and Rosary Society of Holy Redeemer will meet at 3 p.m., Monday, at the home for rosary services.

Andrew and Eliza Martin are recorded in Caball County census in 1850, 1860, & 1870. They had at least five children: Ida, Romaine, Willie, Earnest, and Fannie. Fannie, my gggrmother, married George McDermott. Looking for parents of Andrew and Eliza, info on siblings of Fannie, and any info on George McDermott. Any help very much appreciated.
