Arapahoe Neb

Dear Cousin

                 I seat my self this evening to write you a few lines 

will write more if you ans this I am sitting in the American Hotel 

in Arapahoe I may stay all summer I am assistant cook and bottle 

washer I went to Beaver city and staid one week and worked for 

Laura last week She has been sick a week I have had a terrible bad 

cold it to bad that Della lost her baby   ??cie was in town today 

I do not like to go among strangers as well as I thought I would 

I had a carriage ride easter how many egg did you eat – today is the 

longest day I ever seen will I am ashaimed for not  writing sooner

but I was afraid your were gone and I waited to hear from 

Ma I got a letter from her Thursday and she did not say a word 

about you so I don’t know wheither you will get this or not if you 

will ans this I will try and do better next time and so Cora is 

teaching her school how does she like it will I will close write as 

soon as you get this for it takes it so long to come through by by

I like it first rate at the Hotel write soon    E ? (looks like could be an L)

It is raining tonight I am at Sams again I have made $5 since I came up here
