9. WILLIAM HEDRICK (JOSEPH) was born cir 1802 in see notes. He married UNKNOWN.
Notes for WILLIAM HEDRICK:
There is no proof that William Hedrick of Chariton Co MO is the son of Joseph (d c 1825) of Howard Co MO. The information for his family line has been put together with census records and what marriage information I was able to find on a brief stop in Keytesville in 1995. The Courthouse was already closed but I found a little library/museum that was still open. The man there was very understanding and stayed open for me to search what he had available. The original Chariton Co Courthouse burned and all of the old records were destroyed. Below is the information from this little library/museum in Keytesville. More research is needed to prove these three sons are those of William, son of Joseph, or the discovery of a distant relative. I do not believe this is the William Hedrick I found in Gentry and Worth Counties as probate information obtained from Worth County does not give the same children as this William.1840 Chariton County census has 3 boys, 1 girl.
