William Burgin was born in Flaunden in c1773, to William and Sarah Burgin. He was baptised at Flaunden Church on 1st August 1773 (this was at the old Flaunden Church, now a ruin in the Chess river valley).

William married Ruth Dean on 26th October 1798 at Chenies church, Bucks.
There are more Burgins, either born in Chenies or in the church records of the time, than I can definitely link with William and Ruth. As I don't believe there to have been any other Burgins living there at the time, the following children are possibly William and Ruth's:

Buried: 26th August 1851 (Chipperfield)

4. Stephen
Born: ?
Christened: 27th June 1819 (Chenies)
Married: ?
Died: ? 

5. James
Born: c1811
Christened: ?
Died: 1817, aged 8
Buried: 2nd October 1817 (Chenies)
(Note: No christening found for James, but likely to be a child of William and Ruth)

Ruth died in 1818, aged 40, and was buried 29th December 1818 at Chenies church.
I have not yet found a burial for William.
