The Chipperfield Burgins

The Burgins found in Chipperfield are a distinct family line to the Flaunden and Bovingdon Burgins. William Burgin (c1732-1809) had a son Thomas (who started the Flaunden and Bovingdon Burgin lines) and also a son William. William later married and lived in Chenies and had a son Moses. It is this Moses who started the Chipperfield family line.
Moses married in 1825 in Kings Langley, to Keziah Brown. They settled in Chipperfield and raised their family there (Keziah could have been from Chipperfield herself, as 1825 was to early to get married in Chipperfield church (It was not built until 1838) and so anyone from Chipperfield would have had to have married in Kings Langley).
