Carpenter-Harman Groups

C. and Julia [Carpenter] Harman near Steelville, MO. The occasion was the 50th wedding anniversary of Julia and William Harman. Left to Right is: Della [Carpenter] Allen - Florence Jemima [Harman] Carpenter - Amos Pitts Carpenter - Adalia [Carpenter] Hunter - James A Carpenter, Jr. - Julia [Carpenter] Harman and William C. Harman. The Harmans were married April 3, 1889. |

I think the picture below was taken the same day as the one above. It looks like the top picture is the Carpenter side of the family and the one below is the Harman side. I noticed that in the top picture, Julia is standing next to her people and in the bottom picture they have changed sides and Will is standing next to his people. Will and Julia are dressed the same except that Will has put his coat on in the bottom Picture.
