I am trying to find info on the Crites family. My great grandfather was Esker Franklin Crites (married to Aranita Phillips) and Aranita's brother Wallace Phillips (son of Ellis E.) also married Reta Mae Crites. I have not been successful. Am thinking that the name has undergone a spell change through the years. Possibly from Kritz? I have found in French Creek history a Jemina Crites, but do not know if it is any connection. I think if I remember correctly that she married a Gould. I know Eskers fathers name was Columbus and his grandfathers name was George.

I am also interested in the McCue family. Ellis E. married Martha Frances McCue. And Columbus Crites married Stella Irene McCue.
