These are all of the family members of Rufus Phillips who were in WA in the 1940's

The family members are:
Standing, left to right; Maude Phillips Leonhardt, Floyd Phillips, Rufus Phillips,
Alice May Phillips, Gladys Phillips Dessell, her son, Rufus Dessell and wife Marcella Belanger Dessell.

Kneeling: Walter Leonhardt, husband of Maude; Roy Phillips holding Robert Dessell, son of Rufus and Marcella;
Frank Dessell, husband of Gladys; Richard Dessell, son of Gladys and Frank Dessell.

All these people are dead now with the possible exception of Robert Dessell who was last known to reside in Anchorage, Alaska.
