French Creek Cemetery
This is the 1st graveyard of French Creek. It is on a hill directly behind the old schoolhouse.
It was afterwards occupied by Homer Kelly.  Ealter Ervin removed all the oldstone and plowed it over.
We assume the original stones were destroyed. Some people say there are Indians buried here, the writer
states that this is pure hogwash. The writer was V. B. Hoover.  He says that there were no Indians buried here
after the settlers came. Date of this history of the graveyard unknown

In this graveyard the following are listed: Elijah Phillips Feb 14, 1759-to Spring of 1840

Also  next to him is _______Phillips (unmarked)  Possibly  Cynthia Goodwin Phillips

Aaron Gould, Lydia Gray Gould, (wife of Aaron),

Samuel Gould,  Esther Parker Gould (wife of Samuel),

There are more Goulds here as well,  but only Elijah was found here along with the unmarked grave.
It is possible that they were moved. I don't have anything further on this.
