Son of Hubbard Perry and Harriet Phillips

Orr L. Perry was born at French Creek, October 6, 1861, the son of Hubbard Perry and Harriet Phillips. He died at Elkins, February 21, 1937. He attended the schools of French Creek and graduated from medical school in Baltimore, Maryland. For many years he was a highly successful doctor at Belington and later was the resident doctor of Junior. He wa associated with the mediacal staff of the Davis Memorial Hospital at Elkins for a number of years.
On June 6, 1895, he was married to Bina Moore. They had seven children; Edwin Kirk Perry, Soloman Paul Perry, Elizabeth S. (Mrs. Worth Harper), Katherine (Mrs. James Fidler), Eleanor (Mrs' Loyal Fidler) and Harriet (Mrs. Perry Correck).
Although small in stature, Sr. Perry was big in character. he was a quiet unassuming gentleman. He served as president of the Decendants of the French Creek Pioneers and was always interested in the community
