A few years ago I borrowed the Bible that belonged to David "Smut" Phillips and photocopied some pages in it. I scanned the photocopied Bible pages to send you to put on our website.

It is probable that the signature on the first page is that of David Phillips, my guess is either David Smut's handwriting or his wife Esther's.
You will see on the page with the deaths the handwriting is different.

On the last page of David "Smut" Phillips' Bible. The entries were probably made by Olive Phillips Cutright,  except for the last two which were made by Olive's daughter, Ressie. Ressie is my great aunt.
