CROASDALE-QUINBY

"Whereas Jeremiah Croasdale,

son of Robert Croasdale, of Middleton, in the County of Bucks, the Province of Pennsylvania: and Ann Quinby, Daughter of Isaiah Quinby, of Amwell, in the County of Hunterdon, the Province of West New Jersey, having declared their intentions of marriage with each other, before several monthly meetings of the People called Quakers, at Buckingham, in the County of Bucks afforesaid, according to the good order used amongst them: and having consent of Parents and Parties concering their Proposals of Marriage was allowed of by the said meetings. Now these are to certifie whom it may concern, that for the full accomplishing of their said intentions, this Thirteenth Day of the Fifth month in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Two. Then the said Jeremiah Croasdale and Ann Quinby appeared in a Publick meeting of the said People, at Buckingham afforesaid, and the said Jeremiah Croasdale took the said Ann Quinby, to be his wife....
