Vasey - On the 13th instant, Samuel Vasey, aged 83 years.

The relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services, at the M.E. Home, on Monday morning at 10 o'clock.

That led me to contact the Methodist Episcopal Home. They went back in their records and found a brief, handwritten note in a ledger:

The records indicate that Samuel Vasey resided at The M. E. Home at our prior location on Lehigh Ave. He was born in PA in 1808. He entered the home in 1881. At that time he had been a member of Summerfield M E Church for 42 years. He died February 13, 1891 and was buried at Bensalem Bucks County. The name of Isaac J. Vasey--2551 N.2nd Street appears on the record, & Mr. Pearson of Summerfield Ch.
