TYLER A. NEWSOME

 

TYLER A. NEWSOME of Perkasie died suddenly Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, from injuries sustained  in a motorcycle accident. He was 17.

Born in Lansdale, he was the loving son of BARBARA NEWSOME of Perkasie and ROBERT NEWSOME and his wife, CARRIE, of Perkasie. He was the grandson of ARTHUR and ARLENE KEENER of Telford.

Formerly of Sellersville, Tyler had been a resident of Perkasie for three years and was currently going into his senior year at Pennridge High School.

Tyler had many interests. He enjoyed snowboarding and loved music. He played bass guitar in a small band with his friends. He most especially enjoyed "hanging out" with his friends.

Tyler was never without a smile; he had a very sincere, positive and fun-loving personality. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and whoever had the opportunity to meet him.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, Tyler is survived by his brother, DUSTIN NEWSOME of Los Angeles, Calif. and his stepbrothers, GARY NACE and his wife, JAMIE, and DANIEL and HENRY NACE, all of Hilltown Township. Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, ELEANOR ORMAND and her husband, PAUL, of Quakertown; SHARON SANDOR of Lansdale; LESLIE BAGA and her husband, DR. BRUCE FELDMAN, of Orefield, Pa.; JOHN NEWSOME and his wife, JOYCE, of Cardiff, N.J.; RICHARD NEWSOME and his wife, THELMA, of Lansdale; GLORIA KEENER of Telford; SHEILA SHOOP of Trumbauersville; ALLAN SHROCK and his wife, PAT, of Moorehead, Minn.; and DAVID KEENER and his wife, KATHY, of Telford. Tyler will also be missed by his many cousins and dear friends, including Amanda, Aaron, Jeremy, Josh, Wayland, Ricky, Brian, Ken and Eddy, as well as many others who befriended him.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9 a.m. until his funeral service at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 18, at Calvary Church, 820 Route 113, Souderton, PA 18964. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tyler's memory may be made to the Gift of Life Foundation, 5601 Mariner St., Suite 230, Tampa, FL 33609.
