ROBERT J. BICKEL
ROBERT J. BICKEL of Flourtown died Aug. 15,
2003, at his home. He was 87.
He was the husband of MARY (HINDERER)
BICKEL.
Born in Williamsport, Mr. Bickel was the
son of MAHLON and MARY (EVENDEN) BICKEL.
He was a World War II veteran in the U.S.
Navy, serving in the South Pacific for 29 months.
Mr. Bickel was a president of his own air
filtration business.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by
a sister, BETTY of New Milford, Pa. and his brothers, EDWARD of
Santa Barbara, Calif., ALLEN of Blue Bell, and PHIL of Hawaii.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on
Wednesday, Aug. 20, at St. Genevieve Church, 1225 Bethlehem
Pike, Flourtown, where relatives and friends may call from 9.
Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the charity of
the donor's choice.
