SILVERDALE GRADE SCHOOL

Larger image

Can anyone identify the location of the school or know anyone in the Photo?

The photo would have been taken about 1895. My father and aunt were both born in Silverdale, so, I am presuming this was a one room school house in that area - perhaps in the Village, or located along one of the by-ways between communities (Perkasie and Silverdale?).

    The questions of interest:

  1. What was the name of the school, if any?
  2. Where was the school located?
  3. Does the structure exist today? If so, where, and for what purpose?
  4. The name of the teacher, if known?
  5. Students identified by today's descendants?

If you have any information on the photo email
