Family History:
On September 06, 1635 William, joiner, and Patience were admitted to the church at Boston, MA. On May 25, 1636 he was admitted freeman at Boston. On 24 October 1638 William Wilson of Boston, planter, and Patience his wife sold to John Tinker of Boston his land in Dunnington, Lincolnshire, and so that he and his wife "be not compelled to travel out of the jurisdiction of Massachusetts," they made a power of attorney to "Richard Tunnard, and Thomas Wilson, brother of the said William" In 1642 he served as deputy-marshall and prison-keeper. William Wilson, joiner, owned twelve acrs: bounded on the South East with William Salter, and of the same length to the Southwest and North East, and on William Townsend to the Northwest and Lot G. 52. with considerable back land. After William's death the General Court warned Patience several times that she must not always live at the public building.
