Family History:

In 1820 Richard was living in Sycamore, Hamilton County, OH.
In 1825 they moved from Cincinnati to Tiffin.
in 1830 he was living in Tiffin, Seneca County.
On August 26, 1833 Richard purchased lot 97 in Tiffin from Josiah Hedges and he assigned Richard's two promissory notes to his son-in-law Alexander Mason. In May 1834 Alexander Mason and Josiah Hedges brought action against Richard for non payment of the notes. The judgment was that the notes must be paid within 40 days or the property was to be sold by the Sheriff. The property was sold, but the sale was set aside.
In 1840 he was living in Hardin County.
In 1843 Richard bought land in Kenton, OH from John Boodin. Probate was initiated in 1844 by his wife, Jane and children Andrew, Sarah, Asa, Martha, and Jane and his estate was settled in 1847.
