In 1835 Andrew appears in Tiffin Court Records related to a forgery problem, but the case was continued and no further evidence of it's outcome or specifics about the case have been uncovered. In the 1847 there was a court case of Asa Noble Bird against all his siblings and mother, but this case was also continued and further information has not been uncovered. In 1849 there was a Sheriff's sale of Andrew's property (this may have been related to clearing up his father's estate).Photos:

In 1853, 1854, and 1855 Andrew sold land to his brother Asa.
On June 18, 1860 Andrew Bird, 51 year old farmer born in Ohio with $400 worth of real and $250 worth of personal property; Anne C. Houts, 3 year old born in Wisconsin; Christiana Bird, 38 year old born in Pennsylvania; Martha, 14 year old born in Ohio; John D., 7 year old born in Ohio; Rhoda E., 6 year old born in Ohio; were living in household 778 at Richmond, Richland, WI. Almanda, 4 year old born in Wisconsin was living in the next door household of Allan B. Houghton, county judge. Levi Houts was living in household 777.
In 1861 Andrew served as Orion’s representative on the Board of Supervisors. The following year the county government was reorganized and three supervisors were vested with the power of the original board of sixteen. This system proved inadequate to handle the needs of the county and in 1870 the board went back to one member from each town. In 1873 Andrew again served as Orion’s representative.
On June 8, 1880 John Bird, 27 year old plaster born in Ohio; Clara, 22 year old housekeeper born in Ind; Lydia, 3 year old born in Wis; Zela, 1 year old born in Wis; And, 70 year old brick layer born in Ohio with both parents born in Penn; were living in household 199 at Richland Center, Richland, WI.
On June 30, 1884 Andrew purchased 160 Acres of land in SD at Meridian 05, Twp 122N, Range 062W, Section 015 (Document ID: 1764) and staked a claim along the James River. Andrew sold his claim and moved into Langford. When he became ill he moved back to Richland Center and became a patient at the County Asylum, where he died.
In 1894 Andrew was admitted to the Richland County Insane Asylum.The following information is included to ensure that it is not lost and needs additional research to determine what, if any, relationship they might have to our ancestors.
