The Mosier House
One of the many BUCE family homes. This Victorian cottage house in Mosier, Oregon, was the home of the Jack McKinley BUCE, Sr. family. The historic MOSIER HOUSE is now a Bed & Breakfast.

This genealogy website is a compilation of information from a broad group of genealogists who have one thing in common... we are all trying to track down ancestors with the BUCE, BUSE, or BUICE surname. Over the years we have tried to share scraps of information with each other in an effort to stitch together a patchwork quilt of knowledge about the BUCE, BUSE, and BUICE family surnames. We may or may not be related, but one thing we DO know is that there are very few BUCE decendants out there, and we need all the help we can get from each other!

We invite you to take a tour of our BUCE Family Home! Come on in, put up your feet and stay awhile as you learn about the assorted BUCE, BUSE, and BUICE families!

THE CLOSET Is it true there are skeletons in the closet? View this page of family oral histories. You will find a compiled bunch of scraps collected from the internet and family rumor. Who knows? Maybe there is some truth to what you will hear. On the other hand, be sure to take it with a grain of salt...

Where else do you store the stuff you don't know what to do with? You shove it in the "knick-knack" drawer, of course!

SIGN OUR BUCE FAMILY GUESTBOOK

I invite you into our family home to visit, and maybe share a few of your own BUCE family stories! I encourage you to send even a short note containing your own family rumors, arcane bits of information, and half-truths -- they might very well be a critical link that will lead us to a breakthrough as together we stitch together our family history.

And a poem quoted by cousin Jessie Breshears Redfearn in a letter to a Buce relative sums things up nicely...

Sew together pieces of the past,
Sew together love that will last.
Sew together hopes for the future
And you sew God a brand new world.

Thanks for stopping in! Enjoy your tour of our home. And don't be a stranger, 'cause you are family!
