Column 4SHAKERAG, March 2nd -- Henry Young, a former resident of this neighborhood passed away at his home near Colusa Monday, Feb. 24. Mr. Young was a good neighbor and was never too busy to lend a helping hand to any of his neighbors, who were in need of help. Friends here were prevented from attending his funeral by the roads which were impassable, but extend their sympathy to his family who are left, his wife, one son, Lloyd at home, Lois, now married and a step son, Kenneth Pierce. Burial at McKay cemetery Thursday afternoon.
Note: Henry Young is probably the son of Jessie Young & Catherine Ann Wyman
