Page 156Mrs. Wm. Yetter died of congestion of the lungs at her home in Carthage township Nov. 1, aged 59 years. Her maiden name was Mary Long and she was born in this county, July 26, 1836, and married to Wm. Yetter Nov. 13, 1856 in Carthage. Her children were, Wm. E., Christopher D., Eugene L., Mrs. Wm. Dye, Mrs. Chas. Boston, Mrs. Sylvester Boston and Mrs. Dan Dunsworth. Levi died at the age of twelve, and Ettah when six years old. All the living children lived on farms in Hancock county. Her husband was aged and feeble. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Mr. Brewer and interment was in Yetter cemetery.
Note: Mary M. Yetter (Long) died on 01-Nov-1895.
