Services SundayWarner H. Wright, 71, life long Bucklin resident, died Thursday afternoon in Pershing Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Louis V. Scudiero and Son Funeral Chapel with Dr. Lyle Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Bucklin Masonic Cemetery.
Warner H., son of Henry Clay and Cynthia Irene Gregory Wright, was born Nov. 29, 1908 in Bucklin. On Sept. 19, 1931 he was united in marriage to Miss Tressa M. Apel of Bucklin in Carrollton.
He is survived by his wife of the home in rural Bucklin, two sons, Freddie Dale Wright and wife, Joy, Marceline, Roy Eugene Wright and wife, Peggy, rural Bucklin; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Dena) Peterson, Bucklin, and Mrs. David (Doris) James, jr., New Cambria; two brothers, Harold Wright, Moberly, Francis (Bill) Wright, Brookfield. Also surviving are ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Rachel Wright, Mrs. George (Opal) Ragan, and Mrs. Robert (Jessie) Brewer.
Mr. Wright was a member of the Bucklin Christian Church for 60 years. Before his retirement he was a drag line operator for the pipeline and a farmer south east of Bucklin.
Visitation will begin at 9 a .m. Saturday in the Scudiero and Son Funeral Home, Bucklin.
