Hallie Wright Dies Thursday
Hallie Roberta Wright, 88, Kansas City, died Thursday1 at St. Joseph Hospital, Kansas City.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday2 at First Baptist Church, Marceline, with Rev. Jerry Morris officiating. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the McLaughlin-Scudiero Funeral Home, Marceline.
Mrs. Wright was born Sept. 6, 1896 in Marceline and was the daughter of George and Ollie Chrisman Kintner.
She married John Joseph Wright in 1918 in Linneus. He preceded her in death as did her parents, two sisters, Nettie Orton and Rose DeWeese; three sons, Wilbur, Herald and George LeRoy; a daughter, Genevia Mae; and two brothers, Harold and Clyde Kintner.
Mrs. Wright was a member of the First Baptist Church, Marceline. She moved to Kansas City in 1979.
Survivors are: four sons, Harvey, Carlsbad, Calif., Dale, Carlsbad, Calif., Kenneth, Fort Madison, Iowa, and Ronald Dean, Kansas City; a daughter, Rose Marie Cochran, Iola, Kan.; 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
