Services Sunday For Carl Wright
Carl Taylor Wright, 67, Route 2, Marceline, died Friday at St. Francis Hospital, Marceline.
Services were held Sunday at Tillotson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Leonard Hutsell officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Carl Taylor, son of Gideon and Inez Taylor Wright, was born Feb. 1, 1914 in Forker.
In 1940 he married Freda York.
Mr. Wright is survived by his wife of the home; a daughter, Mary James, Clinton; seven sons, Taylor, Dennis, Alan, Rodney and Bradley, all of Marceline; Gerald of Utica; Lannie of Chillicothe; 23 grandchildren; three brothers, A. G. of Macon; Estel of St. Louis; Omer of Anaheim, Calif.; two sisters, Eunice Reed, Marceline, and Verlea Carter, St. Catharine.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Basil, Loren, Verner and Jewell; a sister, Mae Wright; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter.
Mr. Wright was a retired dymanite man with Moore Company.
