SHILO.

Mrs. Morris White died at her home near St. Marys on the morning of the 24th.  Mrs. White had been in poor health for several years, but recently her health had greatly improved, and it was confidently hoped would soon be entirely restored.  The immediate cause of her death was catarrah of the bowels which terminated fatally in five days.  Mrs. White was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Ewing, and was born in 1857, and was married in 1882.  She taught school in this vicinity for several years previous to her marriage, and was a general favorite with every one.  From an intimate personal acquaintance with her from early girlhood, we take pleasure in testifying to the excellence of her character.  She was a dutiful and devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend.  The bereaved husband and three children, two sons and a six-months-old baby girl have the sincere sympathy of all in their great sorrow.  Burial at the Holland cemetery the following day.
