Funeral services for Orville White, 89, Rt. 1, Colchester, will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Jones Mortuary in Colchester. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery at Colchester.
Mr. White died Sunday afternoon, June 17, 1973, at Sunset Home in Quincy.
He was born Dec. 6, 1883, in Joetta, a son of Marion and Ellenora Siepel White. He was a lifetime resident of the Joetta community and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Friendship United Methodist Church. He married Mabel Alton Dec. 25, 1906.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Warren (Frances) Switzer of Fountain Green and Mrs. Harry (Lucille) Weston of Lombard; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, five sisters and two brothers.
