ESTHER WHITE

Sept. 8, 1898 -- Jan. 2, 1994

Esther Leona White, 95, of rural Blandinsville, died Sunday, Jan. 2, at Memorial Hospital in Carthage.

She was born Sept. 8, 1898, near Fountain Green, the daughter of LeRoy and Stella Sibert White.

She is survived by a brother, Lawrence White of rural Blandinsville; two sisters, Bessie Deener of Macomb and Wanda Huston of rural Blandinsville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Gladys McConnell, Lois White and Nellie Asquith; and by one niece.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Christian Church near Blandinsville.

Funeral services were be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday (today) at the Banks and Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with Richard Sargent officiating.  Burial was in the LaHarpe Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established for the Fountain Green United Presbyterian Church.

BLANDINSVILLE -- Esther Leona White, 95, of rural Blandinsville died at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 1994 in the Memorial Hospital at Carthage.

She was born Sept. 8, 1898 near Fountain Green to LeRoy and Stella (Sibert) White.

She is survived by one brother, Lawrence White of rural Blandinsville; two sisters, Bessie Deener of Macomb and Wanda Huston of rural Blandinsville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Gladys McConnell, Lois White and Nellie Asquith, and one niece.

Miss White was a home-maker and a member of the Central Christian Church near Blandinsville.

Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Banks and Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe with Richard Sargent officiating. Burial will be in LaHarpe Cemetery.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.

A memorial fund has been established for the Fountain Green United Presbyterian Church.
