MAUMELLE, Ark. -- Michelle Lea Washburn, 34, of Maumelle, Ark., died Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, at her home.
She was born on Dec. 3, 1967, in Alliance, Neb., the daughter of Beryl and Bonnie Walker Brunsch. She was raised by her stepfather and mother, Don and Bonnie Reed. She married Michael Washburn on Nov. 18, 1995, in Las Vegas, Nev. He survives.
Additional survivors include: a stepdaughter, Kristin McBride of Tulsa, Okla.; her parents, Don and Bonnie Reed of Alliance and Beryl Brunsch of South Dakota; a brother, James Reed of Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Lori Eggleston of Friend, Neb.; grandparents, Hobert and Kathleen Gilles of Whitewood, S.D.; two aunts, Peggy David and her husband, James, of Sheridan, Wy., and Rita Blom of Belvidere, S.D.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Pearl Washburn of Keokuk; sister-in-law, Debra McPherson and her husband, Mike, of Carthage, Mo.; brother-in-law, Mark Washburn and his wife, Tracy, of Keokuk; and nieces and nephews, Rachelle Wilson of Nashville, Tenn., Hannah and Marlee Washburn of Keokuk, J.D. McPherson of Wichita, Kan., and Scott and Amy McPherson of Carthage.
She was preceded in death by grandparents.
In 1986, she graduated from St. Agnes Academy in Alliance.
After graduating, she went to Travel Trade School in Littleton, Colo.
She then worked in the airline industry and was employed by Continental Airlines for eight years.
Memorial services are at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, at the United Presbyterian Church in Keokuk with the Rev. Brian Rihner officiating.
Burial will follow in Keokuk National Cemetery.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until the time of services Monday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the scholarship fund of the United Presbyterian Church in Keokuk.
DeJong's Funeral Home, Keokuk, is in charge of arrangements.
