SISTER OF AUGUSTA WOMAN
DIES AT DALLAS CITY

Mrs. Elizabeth Walker, Sister of Mrs.
Ethalinda Koontz, Buried
Friday

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wooldridge and son, Vernon, motored to Dallas City Friday and attended the funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Walker, who was a sister of Mrs. Ethalinda Koontz of Augusta, who passed away Wednesday night at 9 o'clock at the home of a daughter at Dallas City.  Death was due to a stroke of apoplexy.  Mrs. Koontz is now the only surviving member of the Miller family.

Mrs. Walker's maiden name was Elizabeth Rebecca Miller, born in the state of Ohio, and at the time of her death was past 83 years of age, her birthday being the 14th of August.  Her husband, Francis Marion Walker passed away nineteen years ago this month.  She was also preceded in death by an infant child, Virgie.  She is survived by the faithful daughter, Mrs. Mary Mueller, who has lived with her mother for so many years and has been her constant companion never tiring in her efforts to make her mother's life a happy one.  One son, Harry, of Dallas City, survives too, as do a number of grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held Friday afternoon at two o'clock from the Methodist church at Dallas City by Rev. Lewis Grant Adams, pastor of the church, of which she had been a faithful member since early childhood.  Rev. Adams message was impressive.  Interment was in the Dallas City cemetery.
