Column 4Thomas Vantine of New Cambria Dies
Thomas Vantine, 76, resident of New Cambria for many years, died yesterday at noon at the hospital in Brookfield. He was born in Chariton County, Missouri September 9, 1866.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Hannah Vantine of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Simon Lower of Marceline, Mrs. Henry Fann of Marshall, Mrs. E. E. Daume of McCook, Neb., and Mrs. M. Whisenand and Mrs. H. Tate1 of New Cambria; one sister, Mrs. Herman Passig of Wien; two brothers, Chas. Vantine of New Cambria and Lewis Vantine of Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at the home Friday at 2:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Wm. A. Roberts. Interment will be at the New Cambria cemetery under the direction of the Gilleland Funeral Home.
