Dies at BurnsideMiss Linnie Tyner passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. J. H. Pettit of Burnside Saturday afternoon, April 28, at 3 o'clock, aged 78. She was a native of Pilot Grove township, her parents being D. C. and Sarah Decker Tyner. She is survived by her brothers, J. D. Tyner of Carthage and G. D. Tyner of Everett, Washington, and the sister, Mrs. J. H. Pettit of Burnside.
The funeral was held in the Burnside Christian church on Monday, April 30, at 2:00 p. m. the Rev. J. E. Caudill officiating. Miss Catherine Pennock of Carthage, played hymns during the service. Interment was in the family lot in McKay cemetery, pall bearers being Charles Jacobs, Gus Goessling, E. L. Dorothy, Bud Stidum, Ransom Worrell and Ed Underwood.
