James Franklin Tucker died at his home in Blandinsville, Saturday morning at 2 o'clock, following an illness with complications. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Baptist church in Blandinsville. Interment was made in the Glade City cemetery. Rev. J. W. Allen officiated.
Deceased was born February 6, 1854. He was a veterinarian for many years.
Deceased was married Dec. 11, 1873, to Miss Margaret Ann Jones, who survives him. He is also survived by four children, Mrs. E. P. Wright of Ft. Madison, Ia.; A. S. Tucker, of Ferris, Ill.; Mrs. Revy Hains, of Colchester and Mrs. Harry Dixon, of Blandinsville. Four brothers, Maurice A., Lee and Harry Tucker, of Carthage, and William, of Kansas, and four sisters, Mrs. Ellen Groves, and Mrs. Alice Bishop, of Missouri, also survive.
