WARSAW, Ill. -- Dorothy Trone, 70, of Warsaw, Ill., died at 2:55 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 1998, at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Lamporte Funeral Home of Warsaw.

WARSAW, Ill. -- Dorothy Irene Trone, 70, of Warsaw, Ill., for the past 30 years, and formerly of Keokuk, died at 2:55 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14,1998, at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk.
She was born on Feb. 3, 1928, in Croton, Iowa, the daughter of Everett and Bessie Dains Malloy. She was the stepdaughter of Everett Beatty. On Dec. 24, 1968, she married Everett Dean Trone at home in Warsaw. He survives.
Survivors also include: two daughters, Mrs. Vern (Virginia) Anderton of West Richland, Wash., and Mrs. Victor (Rhema) Egley of Keokuk; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Wayne (Vicky) Gutting of Kahoka, Mo., Debra Sonier of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Mrs. Steve (Kathy) Hyde of Birmingham, Iowa; four sons, Charles Hatfield of Richland, Wash., Clayton Hatfield and Russell (Karen) Hatfield, all of Florence, Ariz., and Richard (Shelly) Hornung of Warsaw; a step-son, Edward (Penni) Trone Sr. of Warsaw; two sisters, Delores Speake of Montrose, Iowa and Mrs. Jerry (Norma) Cattich of Ranch Cordova, Calif.; a brother, Thomas (Janet) Malloy of Phoenix, Ariz.; 20 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, three sisters, Verda Dains, Ada Kay, and Eudora Gable, three brothers, John Malloy, Elmer H. Malloy and Edward Malloy in infancy, a grandson, Timothy Walter and one step-granddaughter.
Mrs. Trone owned and operated a janitorial service for Steel Castings in Keokuk, for over 20 years.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and crafts, and especially enjoyed her family. She was of the Christian Faith.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Lamporte Funeral Home of Warsaw, with the Rev. Jerry Bown officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw.
Visitation is after 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Lamporte Funeral Home of Warsaw, with the family meeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
