TRAGER --- Mrs. Etta Trager, age 71, of 110 north J street, died Tuesday, June 13, at 12:30 p.m at Mahaska hospital after a stay of eight days.  She was born in Bucklin, Mo., the daughter of Henry and Lucy Walters Sams, and moved to Mahaska county in 1905.  She has resided in Oskaloosa for the past 40 years.

Services will be Friday, June 16, at 2 p.m. at Powers funeral home. Rev. Richard Goins of First Christian church will officiate with burial at Forest cemetery.

Surviving is the husband, Louis Gideon Trager of Oskaloosa; four daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Mable) McGriff of New Sharon, Mrs. Homer (Clara) Vander Zyl of Pella, Mrs. Dale E. (Geneva) Pringle of What Cheer and Mrs. Daniel (Betty) Fowler of Des Moines; six sons, Perry Trager¹ of Springfield, Ore., Aca and Roy Trager¹ of Oskaloosa, Audrey Trager¹ of Merced, Calif., Orville Trager¹ of Des Moines and Charles Trager¹ of Muscatine.
