Funeral services for William B. Thompson, 77, of Hamilton were held Monday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. in the Hamilton Funeral Home, the Rev. R. Walker Butler officiating. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.
Mr. Thompson died Saturday, Dec. 26, in Graham hospital in Keokuk.
Born in Hancock county Sept. 15, 1882, he was a son of Andrew and Margaret Polite Thompson. He was married in Kahoka, Mo., March 31, 1938, to Mrs. Ethel B. Koontz.
He was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are the widow; a brother, Walker of Carthage; a sister, Mrs. Amanda Agnew of Kewanee, and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maggie Fecht Thompson, four brothers, and three sisters.
