Column 4Basco Woman Dies
Visiting Hannibal SonHannibal, Mo., Sept. 13 -- Mrs. Hattie Day Stockton, 71, died at 12:45 o'clock Sunday morning in the home of her son, Raymond Stockton, 1517 Martin street. She was a resident of Basco, and was visiting in Hannibal. She was a daughter of Arthur and Amanda Day and was born in Kentucky on January 26, 1867. Mrs. Stockton is survived by two sons, Carl of Basco and Raymond of Hannibal; a brother, Thurman Day of Omaha, Neb.; three sisters, Mrs. Ferd Lamporte, Mrs. William Fleming, and Mrs. August Ancelet of Basco, and six grandchildren. The body was taken to Basco for funeral services today and burial will be in South cemetery there.
