Mrs. Mary Stidum

Funeral services for Mrs. William Stidum, 82, of Hamilton were held Wednesday, April 27, at 2:30 p.m. in the Hamilton Funeral Home, the Rev. R. Walker Butler, pastor of the Hamilton Methodist church, officiating.  Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.

Mrs. Stidum died Sunday morning in her home in Hamilton.

Mary Maude Sullivan was born near Carthage, March 8, 1878, a daughter of John and Alice McCumber Sullivan.  She was married to William Stidum in Carthage Dec. 22, 1898.  Her husband died in 1947.

She was a member of the Carthage Presbyterian church.

Surviving are two daughters, Miss Alma Stidum at home, and Mrs. Wilma Sherman of California; a brother, John Sullivan in California; two sisters, Miss Cora Sullivan and Mrs. Verna Wilson of Carthage; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
