Emma E. Starr died, near Plymouth, Ill. of pneumonia, March 22, 1904.
She was born in Carroll county, Va., November 18, 1878, moved with her parents to Illinois about 8 years ago. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Maberry. She was married to E. F. Starr, January 22, 1899, to them were born two girls, Belvie and Goldie. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist church, having joined at Little Flock, Floyd county, Va. at the age of 16, and by letter moved her membership to Middle Creek, Ill., where she retained her membership until her death. Her funeral was preached at her home by Elder L. Frazee of the Primitive Baptist church. She had been sick only about two weeks, but suffered greatly, but bore her suffering with christian faith and fully realized that her departure was near at hand, and rejoiced of the peace and happiness she was soon to enjoy in the beautiful land above. We should not mourn her death as her christian spirit is called to God. It was hard to see our dear sister taken away, but we may all strive to meet her in a brighter world above, where there is no sorrow and parting no more. She leaves a husband, two children, a father, mother, eight brothers, four sisters and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death. She was laid to rest in the Kendall cemetery, near Plymouth. May God bless the friends and loved ones and may they meet her again.
MRS. SCOTT STARR.

Ok, ok, I know. What's her name? Is it Emma, Eunice, Una or Euna? Is it Mabry, Maberry or Mayberry?
I don't know.
