Mrs. Ralph Sowers died at her home, a few miles south of town, Thursday March 2d, at 10 p. m.  We are sorry we have not the necessary facts upon which to found an obituary.  The lady was a stranger to us, but we've heard naught but good of her from those who knew her best.  Our sympathy is deep for the young husband whom we have known and respected from his childhood.  God bless him and bind up his broken heart is the wish of     CHAT.

MRS. ESTA LEE SOWERS.

Esta Lee Briley was born near Franklin, Jan 1st, 1881, and died March 2d, 1906.  She grew to womanhood at that place and was united in marriage to Ralph Sowers, Dec. 23d, 1903.

She was converted in Rev. Mr. Sunday's meetings.  She never united with any church, yet she lived a consistent christian life; although she suffered many months she never complained, but bore her sickness with christian fortitude.  In her last days she expressed great faith in her Saviour and if it was his will she was ready and wanted to go.  She talked to her friends and asked them to meet her in heaven.

She leaves beside her husband a father and mother, three brothers and three sisters to mourn her loss.

The funeral was held at Franklin church at 11 o'clock Saturday morning Rev. F. J. Tower officiating.  Burial at Franklin cemetery.
