Versa N. Smith, 92, of rural Tennessee died Sunday, Oct. 14, 1990, in the Hancock County Nursing Home in Carthage.
She was born Oct. 4, 1898, in Tennessee, the daughter of Albert and Maggie Ellison Smith.
Survivors include her cousins, Alma Shipman and Wayne Galloway, both of Carthage.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
Services were held Tuesday at Lamporte Funeral Home in Carthage with the Rev. Philip Nevius officiating. Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Carthage.
Memorials may be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery.
