DIES SUDDENLYWell Known Oak Grove Res-
dent Has Stroke Of Apoplexy
February 2nd.Mrs. Doug Smith died suddenly at her home near Oak Grove Thursday morning, February 2, at 8 o'clock with apoplexy.
Mary Ella Mosley was the daughter of Winston R. and Rebecca Ann (Riggins) Mosley and was born in Hancock township near Oak Grove, October 25, 1863.
She was married to Stephen Douglas Smith in January, 1882, to which union were born two children, Earnest, who is married and has six children, and Maggie, the wife of Minor Sammons, who has two children. She is also survived by her husband and one sister, Mrs. Alice Smith, of this city.
Mrs. Smith has been a member of the Christian church from early girlhood and was a good and devout member.
She was a good neighbor and a loving and devoted wife and mother.
The funeral was held at the Oak Grove church Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, the Rev. H. C. Reichel officiating. Burial at Oak Grove cemetery.
