Page ????????Wm. M. Simms, born in Tyler county, Virginia, October 9th, 1825, died in Burnside, Ill., of pneumonia Feb. 9, 1890. Mr. Simms came to this county from Virginia in 1853, and has lived here ever since. He was married to Miss Isabella Patterson, of Pike Co., Mo., March 24, 1875. He leaves his wife and one daughter, Isabella, about 14 years old, and a host of friends to mourn his loss. Mr. Simms had by his industry and economy accumulated some property to leave his family in good circumstances. He was one of our best citizens, and respected by all men. Funeral tomorrow, 11th, inst., by Rev. Mr. Bowlin, of the M. E. church, of which he was a worthy member. GUY OAKS.
