Funeral services for Albert Simmons, 71, Burnside, were held Sunday afternoon in the Lamporte Funeral Home in Hamilton with the Rev. William Kraemer officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
Mr. Simmons died Friday morning, May 29, 1976, in Memorial Hospital in Carthage.
He was born March 13, 1905, at Fountain Green, a son of Albert P. and Ella Alton Simmons. He married Miss Ruby Hutchins July 8, 1929, in Keokuk, Ia. He was a member of the Burnside Christian Church.
Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Wanda) Danner of Rock Island, Miss Diana Simmons at home and Mrs. Roy (Judith) Hascup of Palatine; one son, Raymond of Burnside; two brothers, Clyde of Medford, Ore., and Robert of Falls City, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Onalee Fenten of Dalton and Mrs. Claudine Long of Carthage; and seven grandchildren.
