Funeral services for Waldo A. Shinn, 67, of Hamilton were held Thursday afternoon, July 20 in the Hamilton Funeral Home with the Rev. Guy Pickering officiating. Burial will be Oakwood cemetery in Hamilton.
Mr. Shinn, a retired farmer and truck driver, died Monday, July 17, in Graham hospital in Keokuk, Iowa following an extended illness.
He was born in Durham township, Hancock county, Dec. 12, 1893, the son of Thomas and Katherine Bryant Shinn.
He married Miss Goldie Brown May 2, 1915 at Durham. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Vilas (Katherine) Paul of Hamilton; a son, Clifton of Hamilton; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Arthur and Tressler.
